Anne Murray

Canadian Morna Anne Murray was born in Springhill, Nova Scotia
on June 20, 1945 to become an international recording star selling
an estimated sixty million albums in both pop and country music.

After taking piano and vocal lessons in her early life, Anne’s singing
career advanced when she became a regular on the Canadian
Broadcasting Corporation TV show “Singalong Jubilee” in the 1960’s.
Her first release on Capitol records, “Snowbird,” leaped on the Hit
Parade in the summer of 1970 giving her a gold record. Three more
million selling pop singles would follow, “Danny’s Song,”
“You Won’t See Me” and “You Needed Me.” “Love Song,”
“I Just Fall In Love Again,” “Broken Hearted Me” and “Daydream Believer”
each were major pop hits as Anne would also top the country charts
with ten #1 crossover hits including, “He Thinks I Still Care,”
“Shadows In the Moonlight,” “Could I Have This Dance,” Blessed Are
The Believers,” “Just Another Woman In Love,” “Nobody Loves
Me Like You Do” and “Now and Forever.”

With appearances on Canadian and American TV shows, Anne
became a regular on the top rated Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour as
she added four Grammy Awards, three Country Music Association
Awards along with several June and American Music Awards.
 
Continuing to record new albums and performing at sold out concerts,
Anne is a resident of Toronto.
