Ferrante & Teicher

Arthur Ferrante born in New York City on September 7, 1921 and Louis Teicher
on August 24, 1924 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania met as young men while
attending the famed Julliard School of Music.

In the 1960’s Ferrante and Teicher jumped on the Hit Parade with their
“twin piano’s” giving them four million selling singles, “Theme from the Apartment”,
“Exodus”, “Tonight” and “Midnight Cowboy “.  These hit singles spawned the
sale of millions of albums making the duo a major concert draw.

With nearly 100 albums to their credit, Ferrante and Teicher
retired to Florida in 1989.

Louis Teicher died in 2008. Arthur Ferrante died on September 19, 2009.
