Fleetwood Mac
It is doubtful any band experienced more changes in members
than Fleetwood Mac a combined British-American group
originally formed in 1967.
Mick Fleetwood was there from the start but it was the
addition of Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham and John McVie that
introduced Fleetwood Mac in the mid 70’s to the American
Hit Parade with singles, “Over My Head,” “Rhiannon” and “Say You
Love Me.”
Six million selling gold singles, “Go Your Own Way,” “Dreams,”
“Don’t Stop,” “You Make Loving Fun,” “Tusk,” and “Sara” fueled
the sale of an estimated thirty million albums for “Rumours,”
earning a Grammy award for album of the year in 1977.
Fleetwood Mac continues to record with various
new members in recent years.
