Kelly, Ronnie and Rudy Isley each where born in Cincinnati, Ohio, where  
as pre-teens they sang in the church choir and as teenagers already signed
to a recording contract with the prestigious RCA label.

“Shout” became their signature song as it landed on the Hit Parade in 1959.
It was followed by “Twist & Shout” in 1962, “This old Heart Of Mine” in 1966,
“It’s Your Thing”, in 1969, “That Lady” in 1973 and “Fight the Power” in 1975.

The Isley Brothers were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992

O'Kelly Isley, Jr. died at just 48 years of age on March 31, 1986.
